Co-Director and Operations Coordinator at Signal Fire, Portland, 2018-present

he Operations Coordinator oversees fundraising and administrative work at Signal Fire. The position is one of a three-part co-directorship with a Field Coordinator and Community Coordinator. The Operations Coordinator ensures that funding is secured through contact with individual donors and foundations.

 

Program Assistant, The Art Gym, Portland, 2016-present

Assist the Curator and Gallery Manager in all things including reconciling invoices, copyediting texts, researching marketing strategies, and build support for Gallery Assistant staff. 

 

Communications Manager, Art Practical, 2016-2018

Strategize publication messaging through social media, newsletters, and all public facing texts. Coordinate between all organization's print, audio, and programming initiatives to produce cohesive online presence. Engage audience members growing participation and reach. Ensure that presentation style and content is contemporary, political, and and true to the Art Practical mission. 

 

Assistant Curator, La Peña Cultural Center, Berkeley, 2015-2016
Curated ¡Arte Adelante! La Peña’s 40th Anniversary Festival. Manged contracts, scheduling, show installations and festival programming. 

 

Graphic Designer, Student Publicity Center, Southern Oregon University, 2013-2014         
Handled individual and group client orders from creative conception to completion. Designed for print a range of items from large-scale banners to event programs. Built graphic identities.

 

Staff Manager, Queer Resource Center, Southern Oregon University,  2013-2014
Maintained safe space for LGBTQ students, faculty and allies. Provided educational panels in classrooms and the community. Produced campus and community wide programs. Managed a staff of 10 including scheduling, task delegation.
